1/11/26 - finally something!

i got film for my polaroid camera this weekend, and i spent a decent amount of time tinkering around trying to get a hold of the settings. the camera is pretty old, and i was given it from a friend, so i had to figure it out and realized the flash doesn't work. nooo! for the time being, i'm just using other large light sources while i try to figure out how to fix that.

while trying to do a photo, i slowly picked up Noumena from her enclosure and placed her on the Enochian prayermat and she began moving around immediately! before, when i would pick her up, she would feign death instantly and splay out her legs as a defense mechanism. she's realy grown accustom to me, and is a lot more comfortable being handled. she is the cutest!

the photos i took were horribly accidentally underexposed as i have no experience with polaroids, and they may just be the creepiest photos i have ever taken of my beetles. this is terrifying.
